The Best Porridge Recipes Ever!

Everyone loves a bowl of warm porridge on a cold Monday morning! It's healthy, delicious and very satisfying. Here are 2 of my favourite porridge recipes ever!





Banana & Maple Syrup

Prep: 3 minutes | Cooking time: 2 minutes | Serves 1


Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup of oats

  • 1/4 cup of quinoa flakes

  • 1 tbsp of chia seeds

  • 1 tsp of cinnamon

  • 1 cup of almond milk (or any milk of choice)

  • Half a banana, sliced

  • Maple syrup

Method:

  1. In a pan, on medium to high heat, add the oats, quinoa flakes, chia seeds, cinnamon and almond milk.

  2. Stir the mixture, and cook for about 2 minutes or until you have reached a creamy-like consistency.

  3. Pour into a bowl and top with banana slices and maple syrup.

  4. Enjoy!


Chocolate and Almond

Prep: 3 minutes | Cooking time: 2 minutes | Serves 1


Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup of oats

  • 1/4 cup of quinoa flakes

  • 1 tbsp of cocoa powder

  • 2 tsp of vanilla essence

  • 1 tbsp of LSA mix

  • 1 cup of almond milk

  • Almond butter

  • Sliced almonds

Method:

  1. In a pan, on medium to high heat, add the oats, quinoa flakes, cocoa powder, vanilla essence, LSA and almond milk.

  2. Stir the mixture, and cook for about 2 minutes or until you have reached a creamy-like consistency.

  3. Pour into a bowl and top with almond butter and sliced almonds.

  4. Enjoy!
